So that was one item we didn't care for - at least that was our, that was one of the things that we needed. Also this is the first one that I had to plug into the programming system had to plug into an electric socket. All the other ones were battery operated and they lasted 4 or 5 years. The lady who helped me actually gave me more information than I needed but it was very helpful. She walked me through every step and made sure I understood what I was getting. They're pretty responsive when I've called, and they always help me out if I have troubleshooting issues with my system. When one of the sensors has issues, they send you out the replacements and all. There was an occasion when the alarm got tripped in, so I had a police officer at the door within 10 minutes of that. It was a false alarm at that time, but I know somebody will be here in case I need it.

Then two of our sensors went out and Monitronics sent two door new replacements and add 2 years from 15 may 2018 without permission on the contact to 15 may 2020. I do not like a company add time to a contract without time. I can not understand how Monitronics/Brinks can do this. I will never sign with another security system in life now that I understand how the security systems work.

She called to find out what had happened and the representative walked her through what she needed to do to reset it. The next day the same thing happened and had to go through the steps once again but the next day the problem persisted. She was given a date when a technician would be coming in to fix the problem. She received a call that the technician was unable to come in due to illness. She rescheduled but the technician didn't show up then either.
